The Electric Aircraft Future of the sky

Well think about Petrol, Diesel, Coal, Kerosene. What all of these have in common..? The answer is they all are getting too old and wont be alive much longer. So what's gonna give life to our Bikes, Cars, Trains, Aircrafts..? The Life Saver is Electricity!!
Lets Know About the Future of the Sky:

An electric plane could be significantly less expensive to operate than a conventional aircraft. A 200-mile electric-powered flight in a single-engine personal plane would consume about $20 of electricity, compared with about $80 worth of aviation-grade gasoline, and an electric motor has only one moving part, so it would be largely maintenance-free.
The EADS Group has benefited from the Paris Air Show to showcase its electric aircraft concept, dubbed VoltAir, which could emerge within a couple of years.

Use of batteries capable of storing a high density of electricity per kilogram, and motors made of materials with superconducting properties at high temperature, to decrease Power Consumption.

Superconductivity is a characteristic of some materials under certain conditions. They lose all electrical resistance, which allows a very economical operation.

Industrial uses are still very rare, because the phenomenon occurs only at very low temperatures. But researchers are on the trail of new materials that would remove this obstacle. EADS expects the hypothesis that "high-temperature superconducting motors" will reach a power density of 7-8 kW / kg with electrical losses near zero.
Regarding the batteries, the group relies on the maturity of technologies lithium-air and lithium-sulfur in the next 20 years. They could reach an energy storage density than 1000 Wh / kg, which would multiply the current performance by at least two.
